19. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay saith the Lord.
20. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:12
It is said in Egyptian literature that the repentant person would walk with a vessel of some sort full of hot coals symbolizing their repentance, thus the analogy of heaping hot coals on the enemies head.
Satan is the ruler of this world for now. He has his own set up over cities and countries and leaders until Jesus comes back and takes it from him. We will go into that later.

Pray
Please pray for these newest of kidnap victims. Pray to give them strength, comfort, boldness in the face of the enemy but, love for the enemy also.
REVELATIONS 6:8-11
8. And I looked, and behold a pale (green) horse; and his name was Death, and hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with the sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
9. And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held;
10. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long , O Lord holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11. And white robes were given unto every one of them, that they should rest yet for a little season until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
I know it is hard to understand but, in praying for our enemies it is as the bible says heaping coals upon their heads.
